Staff Accountant

Duties * Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes * Assist with reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, bank accounts and credit card statements * Assist with reconciliation of inventory and fixed assets * Assist with preparation and reconciliation of multi-state sales, fuel, and excise tax returns * Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple branch locations * Reviewing the preliminary financial statements with managers and identifying any required adjustments * Maintain accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations * Preparation and posting journal entries to the General Ledger * Supporting company personnel in obtaining and interpreting information from our ERP system * Provide support to corporate officers, administrative managers, and operations managers as needed * Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures. * Perform other related duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities: · Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA is desirable but not required · 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience · Proficiency in using financial software systems and/or ERP and Microsoft Office Suite · Strong technical, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, time management, organization and communication skillsDirect Hire with benefits Location Dublin, OHIO Headquartered in North Central Indiana and founded in 2009, TalentSource is a sole source recruiting firm offering an excellent team of subject matter experts in talent acquisition!
