The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.. Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Director of Health Services, the incumbent is responsible for organizing, controlling and managing the Patient Equipment and Transport Depot including the efficient utilization and management of equipment and human and financial resources. Provides leadership through the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of systems and processes to achieve an efficient in-house Patient Transportation Service as well as the supply and distribution of centrally managed patient related equipment. Develops, implements and monitors goals and objectives and participates in continuous quality assurance in an effort to manage risks related to patient transport and centrally managed patient related equipment. Ensures that the services provided by the Patient Equipment and Transport Depot are of the highest standards and to promote optimum patient care during transportation in a therapeutic, safe environment. Experience Minimum three years current, relevant experience in an acute health care setting and minimum one-year leadership experience in a health care setting required.
